The perfumed spirit or alcoholate of coffee (Coffea Arabica) is an alcoholic extract that is obtained by cold washing of the concrete of coffee. It is made from a variety of Arabica coffee sourced in Venezuela. This old method has been brought up to date by our chief sourceur, and allows us to get as close as possible to the original smell of the grain. And to retranscribe the whole of its olfactory spectrum. A real breath of caffeinated air to start the day.

Delicate and tasty, Coffee Alcoholate is ideal to create perfumes with character or simply to enhance your cosmetic creations. But above all, it will surprise you with its musky, warm and comforting fragrance.

Perfumery

OLFACTORY DESCRIPTION

Wild, it opens with a smoky and aromatic accord that fans will recognize perfectly : stripped of all artifice, it is the real coffee bean that is in question. Delicate and greedy, it is also spicy like clove or even pepper. Its pyrogenic note travels through all possible nuances, even passing through a surprising floral and green accent full of life. Slowly, the smoke becomes earthy and woody, as the fragrance stretches its course over a warm and comforting musky amber base.

In food

Coffee alcoholate does not currently have a FEMA* Number

*The FEMA number is an international food safety number. It is essential to be able to use them in food, without it, you are not allowed to consume them. Le Sourceur rejects any responsibility in case of non respect of these rules. Our alcoholates are also very concentrated in alcohol, it seems that they are ideal to use to create syrups, cocktails or any dish to be eaten cold, especially desserts. On the other hand and after many tests, their flash point seems too low to be of any interest in a hot dish, unless added after cooking, just before serving. Be careful with their use in the kitchen, too much of them can be dangerous. If in doubt, contact a specialist.
