OLFACTORY DESCRIPTION
Lemongrass essential oil is a classic in terms of olfactory, therapeutic and culinary properties. Nevertheless its power does not alter its great sophistication. It is lemony, but also highly aromatic and spicy, while retaining a freshness to any test. Gradually leaving its citrus notes behind, the fragrance moves into olfactory recesses close to geranium and rose, before joining the green and earthy trail of a persistent herb like basil. The food dimension is gradually increasing, approaching coriander and carrot seed, to finally fade into the dull, murky earth.

FEMA Number : 2291
*The FEMA number is an international food safety number. It is essential to be able to use them in food, without it, you are not allowed to consume them. Le Sourceur rejects any responsibility in case of non respect of these rules. Essential oils are also very concentrated, a single drop is often enough to flavor your cold dishes, when we consider a maximum of 2 to 3 drops on a hot dish. Be careful with their use in cooking, too much of them can be dangerous or even fatal. If in doubt, contact a specialist.
Recipes
We recommend lemongrass essential oil for a little touch of flavor, but use it sparingly or you may have to taste your dish several times before tasting it.
Some recipe ideas :
• White meat (chicken, turkey) – 1 to 2 drops
• Salmon Ceviche with coconut milk – Spread well, 1 to 2 drops are enough
• On a grilled fish (sea bass or sea bream) Be careful with the power
