Botanical Name : Cymbopogon Citratus

Country of Origin : Indonesia

Olfactive Family : Hesperidia

Harvester : Cœur de Forêt

Harvested part : Leaves

Lemongrass essential Oil also called Indian Verbena is 100% pure and natural. It is obtained by distilling the leaves of the plant sourced in Indonesia by the association Coeur de Forêt.

A great classic of perfumery, its fragrance is fresh and citrusy as well as aromatic and spicy. A fabulous oil that is first used as a binder in an aromatic composition. But not only, since the bulb of the lemongrass is a basic flavouring agent in Indonesian dishes. And its many benefits make its essential oil a widely used product in natural medicine especially for its anti-infectious and anti-inflammatory properties.

OLFACTORY DESCRIPTION

Lemongrass essential oil is a classic in terms of olfactory, therapeutic and culinary properties. Nevertheless its power does not alter its great sophistication. It is lemony, but also highly aromatic and spicy, while retaining a freshness to any test. Gradually leaving its citrus notes behind, the fragrance moves into olfactory recesses close to geranium and rose, before joining the green and earthy trail of a persistent herb like basil. The food dimension is gradually increasing, approaching coriander and carrot seed, to finally fade into the dull, murky earth.
