Green Vanilla

Botanical Name : Vanilla Planifolia

Country of Origin : Madagascar

Olfactive family : Gourmand

Harvester : Coeur de Forêt

Harvested part : Pods

Main application : Diffusion

The oleoresin of Green Vanilla (Vanilla Planifolia) is made from exceptional vanilla pods from Madagascar. Contrary to the traditional method of obtaining vanilla, the still green vanilla pods are stressed. First at a very low temperature and then at high temperature in order to optimize the maximum concentration of vanillin and to enhance the fragrance of the product. Intoxicating and powerful, this vanilla gives off a sweet, smooth and round scent.

Renowned for its nourishing, moisturizing and toning properties, green vanilla oleoresin is regularly recommended as an antiseptic. In diffusion, it will facilitate the relaxation and would even allow a better digestion.

Perfumery

OLFACTORY DESCRIPTION

Vanilla is the star of our combined senses of smell and taste, and is one of the most sought-after and appreciated aromas by all. It is notable how much more successful imitation vanillas seem to be these days than the plant itself.

Thus, Le Sourceur’s Green Vanilla hopes to refocus attention on this treasure of nature, through a healthy and fair process. This vanilla is younger, more floral and resinous than usual. Infinitely more delicate, its evolution is at first subtly powdery and finely balmy. As its aura warms up and fills the air, we detect accents reminiscent of animal fur, but also more leathery and woody. The background seems to go on forever, in the sweetest of ways, bringing back distant childhood memories.
