Black Oud essential oil (Aetoxylon Sympetalum) is sourced in Indonesia, specifically on the island of Borneo. It is obtained by steam distillation of Aetoxylon wood. This wood comes from a variety of tree similar to Agarwood, which is part of the Oud family. This fragrance with character intrigues with its leathery notes. This scent intensifies when the material is distilled into essential oil, while retaining its sweetness, almost as if you were in the middle of a shop selling new shoes. Traditionally, Black Oud essential oil is useful for treating emotional, nervous and psychological problems. It has the ability to induce a deep meditative state.
