This led to the collaboration with Parfumeurs du Monde, enthusiasts who share our vision of the art of perfumery. This union marks a natural evolution for Le Sourceur, opening a new chapter in our history. Parfumeurs du Monde brings its unique expertise and bold creativity, perfectly complementing our know-how in the field of essential oils.

The Darjeeling Black Tea (Camellia Sinensis) from Le Sourceur is a true gem of nature. All the more so when you consider that the extract was not originally intended to be used. It is the result of cutting-edge processing methods, the first of which was not intended for this purpose at all. The starting point is the decaffeination of the tea leaves using a gentle extraction process carried out with supercritical CO2, with the aim, as the method suggests, of producing decaffeinated tea. During this process, a by-product is obtained, a tea wax that is usually simply discarded. It is specifically this extract that caught our attention in our desire to recycle waste.

This wax is then optimised using the absolute method, which captures all the olfactory molecules of the pure, natural essence of Darjeeling tea. A way of creating beauty while avoiding waste and extending the life of natural resources.

The tea used by Le Sourceur gives this absolute a soft and delicate herbaceous fragrance, evoking freshness and serenity, with a slightly tart top note reminiscent of rhubarb, gradually giving way to a delicious tea scent.

Cocoa Ultrasound (Theobroma Cacao) is a real revolution in the field of natural active ingredient extraction. It uses an innovative method that preserves the integrity of the precious compounds contained in the cocoa bean, without using heat or solvents. The extraction process is complete and captures all the aromatic molecules of the cocoa to guarantee unparalleled quality. The result is as original as it is magnificent, transporting you to the kitchens of the world's finest chocolatiers. Yum!

As you can imagine, Cocoa ultrasound magnifies the power of the bean. Here, we find its classic notes, such as balmy and powdery, as well as more original facets, such as animal and earthy. This wide range offers new opportunities for perfumery and even olfactotherapy. For an extract that is matched only by cocoa itself.

Cocoa alcoholate (Theobrama Cacao) is an alcoholic extract obtained by cold-washing cocoa paste. This is made from cocoa beans sourced in Ivory Coast. This old-fashioned method, brought up to date by our sourcing expert, enables us to get as close as possible to the original scent of the bean. And to reproduce its full olfactory spectrum.

Luscious and balmy, this extract is ideal for creating perfumes with character, or simply to enhance your cosmetic creations. But above all, it will surprise you with its irresistible fragrance, both musky and reassuring.

The essential oil of Damiana (Turnera Diffusa) is derived from the flower and leaf of Damiana native to Mexico. It is then obtained by steam distillation. Its fragrance is singular in every way. Fresh and aromatic, it is somewhere between ripe fruit and mate. A note as interesting as powerful that we advise to feel with delicacy by using a support such as a wick.

Damiana is also known for its aphrodisiac virtues, and without discrimination of sex please ! Indispensable for the female balance while stimulating the libido, it promotes erection in men. An essential oil to be kept under the comforter.

Fire Tree infusion (Xanthorrhoea Preissii) is made from the resin of an iconic tree in south-western Australia, commonly known as the Balga. This plant symbolises fertility and renewal in Aboriginal culture and owes its reputation to its remarkable resistance to fire. During Australian bushfires, the plant secretes resin in abundance. This resin spreads around the tree trunk in the form of what are known as claws. These protect the heart of the Fire Tree and, by extension, the animals that come to seek refuge there. This ability allows the tree to recover very quickly and even promotes flowering.

Beyond this extraordinary phenomenon, there is a second miracle for scent enthusiasts like us. Not only does the fire protect the Fire Tree, it also transforms the scent of its resin to create a perfume in its own right. These claws give off a magnificent, unique fragrance, somewhere between woody and smoky with delicate balsamic notes. An astonishing material that testifies to the power of nature and the evolution of scents in their environment. A marvel to be discovered exclusively at Le Sourceur.

The alcoholate of Jasmine (Jasminum Grandiflorum) is an extract obtained by cold washing of the jasmine concrete made from flowers harvested in India. This old method has been brought up to date by our sourcing manager, and allows us to get as close as possible to the original smell of the flower, and to retranscribe its entire olfactory spectrum.

Between sweetness and freshness, this extract is ideal for creating feminine perfumes with character or simply to enhance your cosmetic creations. But above all it will surprise you with its irresistible fruity, silky and delicious fragrance.

Drawing its strength from Haitian purification rituals, unifying and universal, the Perfumed Mist Le Saut accompanies Vetiver on its dizzying plunge into a lush forest.

The San Rafael Home Fragrance is a tribute to the lost grandeur of Ecuador’s most beautiful waterfall. Our Upcycling Sandalwood Absolute (Santalum Album) is a precious and unique extract, the result of years of experimentation to obtain something new from something old. In the beginning, nothing too trivial: Sandalwood Album grown in Australia is transformed into essential oil by hydrodistillation. At the end of the process, the dry wood is usually used as fuel. But not this time. As part of our drive to recycle waste, and because it seems obvious that the material has some deep-seated secrets, we wanted to dig a little deeper.

So we collected this dry waste and proposed this somewhat crazy project to our extraction partners. We finally succeeded thanks to a sophisticated method that uses natural citroflex as a solvent and captures the last olfactory notes of white sandalwood, offering a unique, original, and particularly aromatic absolute. Upcycling not only reduces waste, it gives materials a second life, while respecting our commitment to the environment and sustainability.

Sandalwood Absolute Upcycling differs from Sandalwood Album essential oil in its more woody, toasty notes, deliciously reminiscent of burnt caramel. A pure olfactory gem that we recommend with our eyes closed.

Australian Sandalwood (Santalum Spicatum) essential oil is native to the arid regions of Western Australia. It is obtained by steam distillation of wood grown on twenty-year-old trees. Its fragrance is renowned for its spicy, sweet and earthy notes.

Sandalwood essential oil is commonly applied to the skin to combatmuscular and joint pain, as well as acne. It also has numerous curative virtues: anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory and healing. When diffused or scented, it is ideal for anxiety disorders. Both meditative and relaxing, it also facilitates concentration.

Symbol of the heart of India from where the thousand and one shades of the East flow, the perfumed mist Sharavati is the result of the encounter between Rose and Jasmine, in an unforgettable carnal bouquet.

Tolu balsam (Myroxylon balsamum) ultrasonic extract is a treasure straight from South America, particularly the lush forests of Colombia. Often confused with Peru balsam, it is extracted from the living trunks of the Myroxylon balsamum var. toluiferum tree. Initially, it takes the form of a brownish, sticky, semi-fluid mass, which gradually hardens on contact with air to become solid and brittle. When heated, it becomes malleable again, revealing its full aromatic richness.

Tolu balsam is particularly prized in perfumery for its warm, sweet and slightly spicy scent. A must-have that was missing from Le Sourceur's collection, we have chosen to offer you this Ultrason for its unique properties and captivating aroma.

The spirit or alcoholate of Tonka (Dipterix Odorata) is an extract obtained by cold washing of the Tonka concrete made from beans harvested in Venezuela. This old method, brought up to date by our sourcing manager, allows us to get as close as possible to the original scent of the tonka bean, and to retranscribe its entire olfactory spectrum.

Greedy and powdery, this extract is ideal for creating perfumes with character or simply to enhance your cosmetic creations. But above all it will surprise you with its irresistible fragrance, between vanilla and cocoa.
