New arrivals: Infusions, Ultrasounds and Upcycling!
Fine Lavender Ultrasound (Lavandula Angustifolia) is a powerful, unrivalled aromatic extract that draws from the very depths of the matter to transport you to the middle of a Provençal lavender field. This essence is the result of several extractions, firstly the distillation of the flowering tops into an essential oil, then the extraction of the rest of the plant into an absolute. The two extracts are blended, known as communelle, and then magnified using the modern ultrasound method.
The result is astonishing: we find all the notes of true lavender, with its aromatic, herbaceous and resinous facets, but with much more power and hold. This essential product was missing from our collection, and we chose to include it with care. Sourced from the sunny fields of Provence, our lavender is grown and selected for its purity and effectiveness.
Although aromatic, herbaceous, fruity and resinous, the fragrance of our Lavender extracted via ultrasound is weighted differently from its usual form of essential oil. The heart and base notes are more pronounced, balanced and, ultimately, more legible. The familiar hay note that quickly emerges is not just “coumarin”, but shows an abysmal woody, country depth. And the tea accents are no longer just freshness, but underlying smoky and marine effects.
