Vetiver Essential Oil (Chrysopogon Zizanioides) is obtained by steam distillation of roots grown in The Cayes region in Haiti. It is sought after and renowned in perfumery for its particular scent with woody and earthy, fresh and vegetal notes.

The essential oil of Vetiver is recognized above all for its tonic properties (circulatory, arterial, venous but also lymphatic). Stimulating, it would be beneficial for the body and would strengthen the immune system. It is also known to be tranquilizing and relaxing. Two excellent reasons to spread its scent in your home.

Nootka essential oil (Cupressus Nootkasensis) comes from North American conifers known as Alaska Grand Cedar. These trees are very popular in Canada in the construction industry. However, their essential oil is much rarer. In fact, its supply chain depends entirely on that of the construction industry. Our producer has reached an agreement with loggers to collect all unused sawdust from Nootka cedar logging operations. This sawdust is then transformed into essential oil through hydrodistillation. This is a prime example of waste recovery, which is very important to us.

Powerful and unrivalled, its fragrance is on the borderline between smoky, leathery and woody. This essence of character naturally accompanies materials such as Patchouli, Cedarwood or Sandalwood. In olfaction, it is used to imitate the serene and fresh atmosphere of the cold forests of North America or Europe. Relaxing, Nootka essential oil invites you to let go and allows you to escape. We have chosen to work with the excellent distiller Cassan, certified Ecocert (and therefore organic) and whose lavender crops come from the best producers in Drome, Vaucluse and Alpes de Haute Provence. If it supplies many famous perfumers, its essential oil of true lavender excited us by its notes lavender and greedy, velvety and fruity. A must among the must-haves.

The essential oil of Field Mint (Mentha Arvensis) is native to Nepal. It is obtained by hydrodistillation of the aerial parts of the plant cultivated around the National Park of Bardia.

Its fragrance gives off fresh aromatic notes, both minty and herbaceous. In perfumery, it is mainly used as an accessory to bring freshness to a top set, especially on green and fruity creations.

In olfaction, it helps to keep a cool head in all circumstances while promoting concentration. A breath of fresh air that wish you good things, using it with moderation. The essential oil of Corn Mint would also have many properties. Tonic, nervous stimulant and anti-migraine, at low dose once again, it supports digestion while being formidable to decongest the mucous membrane. A refreshing must-have.
