A great classic of perfumery, Bergamot essential oil transcends the citrus note as we know it. It settles on addictive herbaceous, zesty and marine notes. We note that the extraction process, expression of zest, ensures a much greater richness in the head space.
The aromatic depth is undeniable, evoking the small green and peppery grain, but also lavender and other fresh flowers such as lily of the valley. The fragrance gains in roundness on a more gourmand note, we think we can distinguish a bit of candied ginger, and gradually the whole fades with elegance.
