OLFACTORY DESCRIPTION
Indispensable and irreplaceable, Patchouli Essential Oil is a major woody note. Starting with an almost dusty peppery effect, spicy enough to recall cocoa pods, evaporation reveals a round and warm heart. Inviting the exploration of an undergrowth strewn with dried leaves and roots, the scent continues its journey towards even more woody and wild olfactory grounds, letting fascinating musky volutes dominate.

FEMA Number* : 2838
*The FEMA number is an international food safety number. It is essential to be able to use them in food, without it, you are not allowed to consume them. Le Sourceur rejects any responsibility in case of non respect of these rules. Essential oils are also very concentrated, a single drop is often enough to flavor your cold dishes, when we consider a maximum of 2 to 3 drops on a hot dish. Be careful with their use in cooking, too much of them can be dangerous or even fatal. If in doubt, contact a specialist.
Our recipes
We recommend Patchouli (Pogostemon Cablin) essential oil for a little fragrance, but use it sparingly or you may have to taste your dish several times before eating it.
